Compressor Recievers
The Airpower air compressor receivers are either imported from Italy with the legal CE certification and the local AIA mark or a local air receiver with the South African legal documents. Airpower keeps horizontal air receivers in 50;100;150;270;500 litre in stock and vertical air receivers in 270 litre and 500 litre.
What is the Purpose of an Air Compressor Receiver?
A compressor air receiver is used to store compressed air. The compressed air can then be used to power tools, run machinery, or for any other application that requires compressed air. The receiver helps to ensure that compressed air is available when needed. Additionally, the receiver acts as a buffer between the compressor and the tool or machine, which helps to protect the tool or machine from sudden fluctuations in pressure.
Pick the correct air receiver for your application
When choosing an air receiver, it is important to select the right size for your application. The receiver should be large enough to store the required amount of compressed air, but not so large that it takes up too much space or costs too much to install. Additionally, the receiver should be designed for the type of compressor being used. For example, a reciprocating compressor will require a different type of air receiver than a rotary compressor.
Refrigerated Dryers
Refrigerated air dryers from 750 liters/min up to 17000 liter/min ex-stock. Larger ex overseas. Dew point 4°C under pressure. Automatic drain pre and manual drain after filters.
Screw Compressors
Screw compressors have no valves or other mechanical forces to cause imbalances unlike piston compressors.
Compressor Components
Airpower keeps universal spare parts for compressors. Pressure switches, non return valves and safety valves are universal to all compressors. Bottom entry filters/ regulators, electric motors and starters can be used for many makes of compressors.
