Pneumatic Cylinders
Airpower is the importer of Camozzi pneumatic cylinder components. We cut the barrel, manufacture the tie rods and assemble a standard pneumatic cylinder within an hour or two. Non-standard stroke cylinders, a bit longer.
Our Range of Camozzi Pneumatic Cylinders

High-Quality Camozzi Pneumatic Cylinders for All Your Needs
A Camozzi pneumatic cylinder converts compressed air energy into a reciprocating linear motion. Camozzi cylinders are simple to use and are a cost-efficient solution to move loads linearly. With pneumatic cylinders the speed and the force can be adjusted by just adjusting the pressure and or the flow of the compressed air. Pneumatic cylinders are commonly used in the automation of machines and industrial processes. It is light weight and do not pollute the area. The compressed air only flows from the air compressor to the cylinder and no return line is needed, like in hydraulic cylinders.
Other than Pneumatic Cylinders, Airpower stocks a variety of Air Compressor Spare Parts including Vertical Air Receivers, Particle filters/water traps, Regulators, Lubricators, and Carbon filters.
Frequently Asked Questions about Pneumatic Cylinders (FAQs)
1. Can Airpower supply non-standard stroke pneumatic cylinders?
Answer: Yes. At Airpower, we cut the barrel, manufacture the tie rods, and assemble Camozzi pneumatic cylinders in-house, allowing us to produce non-standard stroke cylinders quickly and accurately. Depending on complexity, custom-length cylinders can be ready within a few hours to a day.
2. How quickly can I get a pneumatic cylinder from Airpower?
Answer: For standard-stroke Camozzi cylinders, we typically assemble and supply within 1–2 hours, thanks to local stock and in-house assembly capability. This ensures minimal downtime for your operation. For larger orders or custom specs, lead times may vary, but we prioritise fast turnaround.
3. What’s the difference between single-acting and double-acting pneumatic cylinders?
Answer:
-
Single-acting cylinders use air pressure in one direction and a spring to return the piston.
-
Double-acting cylinders use air to move the piston in both directions.
Camozzi offers both types, and the best option depends on your application’s force, stroke, and space requirements.
4. Do I need to lubricate Camozzi pneumatic cylinders?
Answer: Most Camozzi cylinders are pre-lubricated and suitable for dry or lubricated air systems. However, clean, dry, and regulated compressed air is essential for longevity. If you’re running a lubricated system, we recommend consistent use of pneumatic oil to avoid seal damage or irregular wear.
5. Can I get technical advice or help specifying the right cylinder for my application?
Answer: Absolutely. Our technical team can help you identify the right bore size, stroke, mounting type, and accessories for your application. Whether you’re replacing an existing cylinder or building a new system, we’re ready to assist — including on-site support where needed.
Refrigerated Dryers
Refrigerated air dryers from 750 liters/min up to 17000 liter/min ex-stock. Larger ex overseas. Dew point 4°C under pressure. Automatic drain pre and manual drain after filters.
Screw Compressors
Screw compressors have no valves or other mechanical forces to cause imbalances unlike piston compressors.
Compressor Components
Airpower keeps universal spare parts for compressors. Pressure switches, non return valves and safety valves are universal to all compressors. Bottom entry filters/ regulators, electric motors and starters can be used for many makes of compressors.
