What is the difference between servicing a refrigerated dryer and a desiccant dryer?
Refrigerated dryers require maintenance of the cooling circuit and heat exchangers (similar to an AC unit). Desiccant dryers, however, involve checking the switching valves and periodically replacing the desiccant beads (silica gel or activated alumina) that "soak up" moisture.
