1/2” BSP Idle running Governor or Load Genie. This unit will be able to handle 900 liter/min (32 cfm) compressed air. Pressure settings from 6 to 12 bar.
If you have a continuous running air compressor, without valve lifters, you use an Idle running Governor to off load the access compressed air, when the air receiver tank reached the set pressure.
You use a continuous running compressor, when you have a petrol or diesel unit or you do not have enough power to restart an electric unit under load.
What is an Idle running Governor?
The Idle running governor is a device, diverting the compressed air into the air receiver or to atmosphere.
You can set the pressure where the air receiver is on full pressure and the idle running governor will cut the compressed air at this pressure.
The compressor will keep on running and pumping air, but this air will be dumped by the idle running governor, until the air receiver reach the cut in pressure.
At this point the idle running Governor will divert the compressed air to the air receiver again.
