At Airpower we design and build our standard diesel driven air compressor models and keep them in stock, but also build units to customer requirements. Although you can buy a diesel unit with a recoil starting rope, we always recommend an electric starter on a diesel unit.

Buying the correct diesel air compressor for your application
There are a few things to consider when buying the correct air compressor for the application:
If the compressor is too small, then either your efficiency will be much lower than what it would have been with the correct unit or you might not be able do the work at all.
If you buy one that’s too big, your compressor will run too cold and this can cause other technical problems.
If you buy the wrong duty cycle quality, the machine will not last.
If you buy a compressor with too low pressure, you cannot do the work you bought it for.
