Powerful Air Compressors
for All Your Industrial Needs
Find the perfect air compressor and optimize your production with expert advice from Airpower!
Boost Efficiency & Production:
Expert Selection & Sizing:
Choosing the correct air compressor is crucial. We take the guesswork out by calculating the required Air Flow Rate (CFM) and Operating Pressure (PSI) for your application. This guarantees optimal efficiency and avoids underpowered or oversized compressors that can hinder productivity.
What Size Compressor Do I Need?
Here’s how to Determine Air Compressor Size:
1. Know Your Requirements:
- List the tools you'll use with the compressor.
- Find each tool's CFM (cubic feet per minute) rating (usually in the manual or online).
2. Calculate Total CFM Demand:
- Add up the CFM ratings of all your tools.
- Add a 25% buffer for leaks and inefficiencies.
Example:
Three tools each use 30 CFM (3 * 30 CFM) = 90 CFM.
Total CFM with buffer = 90 CFM + (25% * 90 CFM) = 112.5 CFM
3. Factor in Duty Cycle:
- Duty cycle = Time compressor runs / (Total time running + time off)
- Multiply total CFM by duty cycle for a more accurate picture.
Example:
Duty cycle is 80%, so total CFM = 112.5 CFM x 0.8 = 90 CFM
4. Determine Pressure Needs:
- Check the pressure (PSI - pounds per square inch) requirements for each tool in its manual.
- Choose a compressor that delivers the HIGHEST PSI needed by any of your tools.
Example:
Three tools require 10 PSI, 20 PSI, and 30 PSI. Choose a compressor that delivers 30 PSI.
5. Check Voltage Compatibility:
- Ensure the compressor's voltage (usually 220V or 400V) matches your local supply.
- Consult an electrician if unsure.
6. Consider Tank Size (Optional):
- A rough guideline is 19L of tank capacity per CFM demand.
- Standard tank sizes are 454 or 908 Liters.

Complete Service & Support:
Our commitment extends beyond sales. We provide comprehensive repair services for all types of pneumatic systems, ensuring your equipment stays running smoothly. We also offer a wide range of air filtration systems and replacement parts to keep your compressed air clean and efficient.
Refrigerated Dryers
Refrigerated air dryers from 750 liters/min up to 6500 liter/min ex-stock. Larger ex overseas. Dew point 4°C under pressure. Automatic drain pre and manual drain after filters.
Screw Compressors
Screw compressors have no valves or other mechanical forces to cause imbalances unlike piston compressors.
Compressor Components
Airpower keeps universal spare parts for compressors. Pressure switches, non return valves and safety valves are universal to all compressors. Bottom entry filters/ regulators, electric motors and starters can be used for many makes of compressors.
